BioI'm Ashley. I'm an aspiring author from a 1.5 square mile town in southern New Jersey. After six years of slaving over it, I recently finished my first novel and am editing the heck out of it before I start looking to send it out into the world. I love to read--mostly YA and fantasy, though I've been known to enjoy a good memoir. I spent the first 12 years of my life planning for a life in musical theatre, though I was writing all the way through that, so I guess I've always been on this path. But I came out of theatre with a lot of good stories! I once proposed to Clay Aiken at the stage door of Spamalot. I once produced a jar of Fluff and sugar sticks that started a massive bra party in an all-girls dorm. I danced through the streets of New York City singing "You Can't Stop the Beat."
I think I'm pretty neat.
